Pre-Law
Pre-Law
The program is designed to introduce students to and prepare them for careers in law and public safety such as police officers, lawyers, court reporters, firefighters, and detective. Pre-Law is a four-year honors program that equips students with the knowledge and skills needed for success in life and education after high school graduation.
Hancock offers an award-winning pre-law program. Students will develop critical thinking skills, learn debate techniques, self-advocacy, and awareness of contemporary issues. Hancock has a dedicated modern courtroom where students partake in mock trials. Students have the opportunity to participate in exciting internships, downtown and throughout the surrounding community. There is a strong focus on experiential learning that allows students to visit courthouses and law firms, and listen to guest speakers.
