Mr. McCartney has worked at Hancock since the fall of 2008. He currently teaches Advanced Placement Psychology and serves as the Science Department Chair.

Mr. McCartney went to UIC earning degrees in both biology and psychology; National Louis University earning a masters in secondary teaching; and the University of Florida earning a masters in forensic science. Mr. McCartney is currently working on his PhD in Science Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
