After a three-year stint studying fashion, Ms. Gonzalez earned a B.A. in English Education with a minor in Latin American / Latino Studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Her career began in 2011 as a student teacher at Hancock. She now teaches English III and AP English Language and Composition and serves as both the sponsor of the Social Justice Club (SJC) and co-sponsor of the International Club. Currently, she is working on a M.A. in Writing, Rhetoric, and Discourse at DePaul University.
